Price & Where To Buy
I got these lip glosses from CVS during their end of the year clearance. I was able to get them for $1.99 and they retail for $7.99. These Colorburst Lipglosses are still available just about everywhere, but the colors may not be the same. For these specific shades, you can still get them from Drugstore.com.
These tubes are square, long, and thin. The applicator is a soft paddle like applicator.

Crystal Water is a clear lip gloss with a violet and pink shimmer in it. This one is my favorite. It’s great on its on if you just want a fun but clear gloss, or you can layer over almost any pink, red, or purple lipstick and make the lipstick look amazing. I’m sure you could layer over any color, but those are the ones I’d recommend. I chose the blurry picture so you see the colorful shimmer, otherwise it’s just a clear gloss.
This is also a nice color. It’s a slightly milky, shimmery peachy nude color. It tones down the natural redness of my lip which I like sometimes. I’m not sure how it would look on someone with paler lips. It might be “too nude.” It does unfortunately go into lines of my lips a bit.
This color is self explanatory. It’s a brown based gloss with bronze shimmer. It goes on fairly sheer, but it’s very pretty. It would be great on top of other colors.
I really do like these lipglosses. They are only a little sticky, but left the lips feeling soft. The claims of “rich color” are a little lost on me. Don’t get me wrong; the color is nice, but they were fairly sheer unless heavily applied (which would increase the stickiness). Maybe I should have got different colors to see the “rich color”? The paddle applicator is somewhat of a pain. It doesn’t apply to color evenly. I usually wipe the gloss on to my finger and dab it on. They are quite shiny, too. If I could find them for $2 again, I would definitely buy more.
I finally got my Dark Hearts order in, so I should be swatching that soon. I have made some recent purchases where I paid full price. *GASP* I should be posting those soon. I know I’ve been slow about everything, but I should get into the swing of things shortly. Thanks for being patient.
